Another Fun Weekend

This weekend we went to Salt Lake to visit my friends Sami and Mike! I haven't seen them since my wedding so I was so excited to get to visit them. Last year they came to see us, and the year before that, we went to Elko to see them, so this year we decided to meet in the middle. It was a pretty fun trip except fort the weather. There was supposed to be a storm from Alaska and Canada moving down so it was supposed to dump snow on pretty much all of Utah. Well, the whole weekend was pretty cold, but we waited and waited for snow, but all we ever got was maybe an inch. Then we found out that back at home in Cedar, that we had gotten like 5 inches. Here it is 2 days later and we are still getting snowed on! There was a really cool looking mountain on the way up that looked like it had a spaceship sitting on top of it or something like that and it looked so cool that I took a picture.

We went to quite a few stores so that they could finish their Christmas shopping and we just tagged along. We went to Target where Spencer decided it would be funny to attack me with a tree skirt. Sam started laughing so we put one on her too and got a picture.

We pretty much hung out at Cabellas a majority of the day on Saturday and got some pictures while we were there too. I think people probably thought we were crazy tourists or something snapping pictures all over Cabellas, but it was fun anyways. Sami and I kissing the Cabellas moose.

Spencer with a bird decoy on his head!

All in all, it was a great weekend. We got to eat at Cafe Rio, we went to the Boondocks which is like Fiesta Family Fun Center kind of place and it was way fun. I was hoping that they had one of those Dance Dance Revolution games because those are my favorite, but I didn't see one. Then I found Sam doing one! I was so excited so her and I did that thing honestly like 8 times! I was so dead afterwards. I am still sore today and that was Saturday night! We played laser tag too and so it was pretty fun. I was sad to have to say goodbye, but it was definitely nice to go home and relax too. This is what we came home to though. These were taken today, not over the weekend, but this has been accumulating since Saturday!

Tagged!

Well, Shay tagged me so that is one more post to do today! I have already done 2 others!

5 Weird Things About Me:
1. I love to clean...something about watching something go from dirty to clean..I just love it.
2. I think I might have a slight case of OCD. There are a lot of cases, that it could be very true.
3. I have had tons of things happen that are just kind of random and yet haven't ever been seriously hurt...when I was born I had a weird rash all over and the doctors didn't know what it was, when I was a baby, I fell into our pool in Cali, when we lived at the Depot, I got carbon monoxide poisoning, I got in a three wheeler accident one time and my leg got pulled under the tire and the worst I got was a big scrape down the backside of my leg(it should have broken it), etc. etc.
4. I hate that people are racist or prejudiced. Why can't we all just get along?
5. I have never had a broken bone, stitches, or been knocked out...except for my wisdom teeth. Oh, thats another weird thing about me. I had to get my wisdom teeth out, two were impacted and two were completely grown in and after I got them removed, I went home and ate lasagna that night. I had the greatest wisdom teeth experience ever! It never hurt, I never had aches and pains, never swelled up, and never got dry sockets. There is something to be said about drinking pineapple juice!

The Weekend!

This weekend, Spencer had to work on Friday in Kanab so I went with him and just ditched class. On the way over (at 7 in the morning!) we saw this! It was the coolest thing ever! It looked like there was a dome over the trees holding the clouds inside. This was up on Cedar Mountain.

We spent all day Friday doing our own thing since he was working at the car lot. Then on Saturday, his parents were having a big sale at the carlot so we went down to help with that. One of the people that his dad works with from Vegas owns a helicopter and when he comes up, he flies it and lands it in the field next to the carlot. He decided to make a trip up on Saturday when he found out Spencer was there because he knows that flying helicopters is what Spencer wants to do so he took him flying in this sweet helicopter. The guy has so much freaken money. This is his very own helicopter and it cost him like $350,000. Insane!

And then the best part of the weekend was the newest member of our family, Peanut. We're still working on the name, but I'm pretty sure its going to be Peanut because hes brown like a peanut and tiny like a peanut too. My sister in law's dog had a litter of full bread Pomeranian puppies and I've wanted one ever since. At first she was going to sell them for $400 and give us a family discount so we could have it for $300. We couldn't afford that so we didn't get one. Then a few months later, she still had 3 of the puppies and hadn't sold them yet so she said she was going to sell them for $200 and we could have one for $100. Then, this weekend while we were home she told us $100 again, until her husband got home and he told us to just take one. They are 5 months old now and they still haven't been able to sell them so they gave us one! I was so freaken excited. I mean, we have Buddy, but I wanted a cute little cuddly lap dog that will lay and snuggle with me and stuff and he does. He is so freaken cute and all I have to do for payment is scrapbook some pictures of Clayton, my nephew for her. Pretty good payment. It will be fun and I got a cute little dog out of it!

Playing Catch Up!

Ok, well, lots of stuff happened in the last week...last Monday Spencer and I decorated our tree and had a lot of fun reminiscing about all of our old ornaments from growing up.

I bought a train set last year to put around our tree because I always loved it when they had them in the movies so Spencer put it up this year. (last year, it would have taken up our whole living room in our tiny apartment).

Here is the rest of our decorations that I put up a little while before we got our tree!

Happy Thanksgiving!

May your stuffing be tasty
May your turkey plump,
May your potatoes and gravy
Have never a lump.
May your yams be delicious
And your pies take the prize,
And may your Thanksgiving dinner
Stay off your thighs!

And my FAVORITE!

Twilight!!

Well, Twilight finally came out! It was hilarious too! It wasn't nearly as good as the book, but it was pretty good. They are both horrible actor/actresses but it kept us all laughing. They had the lobby decorated like the last scene of the movie..prom! So Amanda and I got our pictures done in front of it with Vampire Teeth! We had fun. Amanda and I are in the first picture and then her roommate Mallory is in the other. We all had fun. Amanda and Mallorys other roommates Cash and Chantelle were both there too and then their other friend Jeni too. Big group=lots of fun!

Christmas!

Well, the time is here! Its just about Christmas time! I am so anxious for Christmas that I just took down all my fall decorations yesterday. I haven't started putting up Christmas decorations yet, since Thanksgiving hasn't even gotten here, but I really want to. Since I haven't started decorating my house in Christmas yet, I figured I could at least decorate my blog in Christmas! Merry Christmas!

Happy Birthday Spencer!

Today is Spencer's birthday, but we have pretty much been celebrating since Thursday. Thursday he begged for one of his birthday presents so I gave him the small one. The whole collection of Tremors movies. He has loved them since he was a kid and only had the first one on VHS so I got him the whole collection on DVD.

Then on Friday, I wanted to take him out to dinner since we weren't going to be here on Saturday and his birthday was on Sunday. So after he showered, I gave him his big present...a new pair of shoes. Money is a little tight right now so I told him that if he wanted a birthday, it was probably going to be practical and he desperately needed new shoes. His other ones he had been wearing for like 4 years and were starting to look horrible.

Then on Saturday we went to St. George to meet up with his family and eat dinner with them. We got to go to Chuck-a-rama and chow down. It was great. Then his parents gave him his present from them which was more shoes, but work boots instead of regular old tennis shoes which he really needed too.
Now, today is finally his actual birthday and he doesn't get anything! I have nothing left to give! But we did get him a sweet cake. Its from Walmart and it was just one of the premade ones, but we wanted whip cream frosting and so it was a pretty limited selection so he chose this one. It was pretty funny.

We realized as we went to cut the cake that the little Hulk Heads and The Incredible Hulk circles were actually rings so we were playing it up gangsta style!
